After Thyroid Cancer High T1 Answers On Medullary Thyroid Cancer?

Answers on medullary thyroid cancer? - after thyroid cancer high t1

Hello, I wonder if anyone has some answers for me.My Hubbe with medullary thyroid carcinoma in January 2007 under which it is diagnosed from the thyroid gland. There were some chemo-and radio-active iodene. In May 2008 it was found that the cancer has spread to the lung - the lung was removed (on behalf of calcitonin is less than 2000). Then in May 2009, he went for a routine inspection found that more tumors in the neck and the number of calcitonin + / - 4900th But I also noticed other things - is that a constantly running stomach, mood swings and excessive logical thinking is (the yellow white-eye, although abdominal CT scan was performed to verify that your liver). With counting of calcitonin be so high, and yellow eyes, and mood swings may be possible that the CANcer liver is gone, but are not seen with a normal scan? Calcitonin number has doubled? Ideas?
Thanx

Hello --

I am a boy MTC. Where is your husband is treated? I think he could not see benefit from an expert on this type of cancer. To cite a few in the region: Douglas Ball from Johns Hopkins, Jeff Moley at the University of Washington, Robert Gagel at MD Anderson.

MTC often spreads to the liver in the rice-like pattern, not always visible in the scans. The symptoms of her husband, hepatic encephalopathy may or may not related to the MTC.

Do you support the Yahoo e-mail group specifically for people with MCE? When you post your question, probably a bigger reaction. Here is the link to subscribe. It is the site Thyca:

IWe hope that your husband receives the best possible care.
