Intraocular lenses. What is their longevity? How long have they been in use? - intraocular surgery

I think intraocular lens implants have. especially in the long run it seriously, but the changes of soft cataract. Since I am relatively young for this type of surgery (53) I'm worried whether the new targets will take effect all my life. - Up to 30 years or so lucky!
